Motorola Droid Razr
I got this thing as part of my upgrade from o2.  I wanted anything but an iPhone.  I had a 3GS for 2 years and I was so sick of the outdated iTunes that I had to move on.  I tried, it failed.
Anyway, I’ve only had this one in my possession since Thursday and I’m already considering sending it back.
It fails hard on the wifi front.  All other devices connect to our wifi with a strong signal, but this one seems to keep crapping out.  It looks like it’s detecting it, but in fact there’s nothing going on.
And the damn network connection is the worst.  What’s the damn point in having a phone that won’t pick up the service provider half of the time?  Everyone else in the house is on Orange, but my iPhone never had this problem so I know it’s not just a coverage problem.
Then today it just started to randomly restart itself.  Even when I’m not actually using it.  I see it from the corner of my eye.
I can handle little problems with technology, it’s expected.  These are three major issues that render the phone pretty much useless.  I like a lot about the phone.  Android, for a start.  A huge improvement over iOS.  Little features are cool, but I can get those on another phone.  This thing just takes the piss, and I’m going to ring o2 to complain about them.
I’ve never had a Motorola before, and after this I probably never will again.
They said I have 14 days to send it back.  It might not come to that if they can offer me a solution, because the phone itself is good.  Just the main parts of it are in great need of improvement.
For now, fuck you Motorola.
